ZEVQILO offers artificial, imitation, and fashion jewellery. Proper handling, cleaning, and storage can help maintain the appearance of your jewellery for longer.

Because materials, finishes, plating, stones, beads, and decorative elements may vary between products, customers should also follow any product-specific care instructions provided on the relevant product page.

Everyday Care

To help preserve the appearance of your jewellery:

  • Keep jewellery away from unnecessary or prolonged contact with water and moisture.
  • Remove jewellery before bathing, swimming, exercising, or other activities involving significant moisture or perspiration.
  • Avoid direct contact with perfume, deodorant, hairspray, cosmetics, lotions, sanitiser, cleaning products, and other chemicals.
  • Apply perfume, cosmetics, and personal-care products before putting on jewellery and allow them to dry first.
  • Handle chains, clasps, stones, beads, and decorative components carefully.
  • Avoid pulling, bending, dropping, or applying excessive pressure to jewellery.

Cleaning

After wearing your jewellery, gently wipe it with a clean, soft, dry cloth before storing it.

Unless specifically recommended for a particular product, avoid:

  • Harsh chemical cleaners
  • Abrasive cleaning products
  • Jewellery-polishing chemicals intended for precious metals
  • Soaking jewellery in water or cleaning solutions
  • Scrubbing jewellery with rough brushes or materials

Different artificial-jewellery materials may react differently to cleaning products, and aggressive cleaning may damage the finish, plating, adhesive, stones, or decorative components.

Storage

When jewellery is not being worn, store it in a clean and dry place.

Gradual changes caused by normal use do not necessarily indicate a manufacturing defect.

Stones, Beads and Decorative Elements

Jewellery containing stones, beads, faux pearls, crystals, or other decorative elements should be handled carefully.

Avoid dropping jewellery or applying excessive pressure to decorative components, as this may loosen or damage them.

Do not pull a jewellery piece by its stones, beads, or decorative elements when putting it on or removing it.

Water Exposure

Unless a specific product page expressly states otherwise, ZEVQILO jewellery should not be assumed to be waterproof.

We recommend removing jewellery before:

  • Swimming
  • Washing dishes
  • Heavy exercise
  • Entering pools, the sea, saunas, or steam rooms

Skin Sensitivity

ZEVQILO does not make a general claim that all jewellery is hypoallergenic unless this is expressly and accurately stated for a particular product.

Individual reactions can vary.

If you experience irritation, discomfort, or another adverse reaction while wearing a product, discontinue use.

Tarnishing and Colour Changes

ZEVQILO does not make a general claim that all products are anti-tarnish, waterproof, or permanently colour-retaining unless such a feature is expressly stated and supported for a specific product.

Artificial and imitation jewellery can experience gradual changes in colour, shine, finish, or appearance through normal use and environmental exposure.

Following the care recommendations in this policy may help reduce unnecessary deterioration, but it cannot guarantee that a product will retain its original appearance indefinitely.

Replacement Eligibility

Damage caused after delivery through improper handling, misuse, moisture, chemicals, unsuitable storage, excessive force, normal wear and tear, or failure to follow reasonable care instructions is generally not covered by our 7-Day Replacement & Refund Policy.

If a product arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different from what you ordered, please contact ZEVQILO within 7 days from the date of delivery in accordance with our 7-Day Replacement & Refund Policy.
